A Szegedi Vörösmarty Mihály Általános Iskola tízfős, 7–8. osztályos tanulókból álló csoportja 2025. november 29. és december 6. között egy emlékezetes hetet töltött Dániában, a haderslevi Klovermarkskolen vendégeként.
A dán diákokkal együtt olyan közös projekteket valósítottak meg tanulóink, melyek központi témája a fogadó intézmény SUUS program megismerése, 17 fenntartható fejlődési cél (SDG17) fontosságának megértése, a dán hagyományok és kultúra felfedezése, az európai partnerség erősítése és az angol nyelvtudás fejlesztése volt.
A résztvevő diákok komoly válogatási folyamat eredményeként kerültek be a programba, s már a kiutazásuk előtt feladatokat oldottak meg, valamint angol és magyar nyelven felkészültek a megvalósítandó program tematikájából.
A csoport szombaton érkezett meg Haderslevbe, ahol a vendéglátó családok nagy szeretettel fogadták őket. A hétvége a kötetlen ismerkedés jegyében telt, a gyerekek az őket vendégül látó családokkal különböző szabadidős tevékenységeken vettek részt, így a nap végére mindenki otthonosan érezte magát új/dán családja környezetében.
A dán pedagógusok változatos, élményekben gazdag szakmai programot állítottak össze a projekthétre. Tanulóink dán társaikkal együtt játékos csapatépítő foglalkozásokon és uszodalátogatáson vettek részt, a fenntarthatósági célokat pedig egy társasjáték segítségével ismerték meg. Egy izgalmas Photo Safari során felfedezték Haderslev nevezetességeit.
Kipróbálták a Grand Slam kerékpár-szimulátort, és mobilitási célokat bemutató plakátokat készítettek. Megismerték a SUUS programot és jelmondatait – „Never say no” és „Look up, live life” –, valamint Maslow szükségletpiramisa kapcsán azokat az életmódbeli alapelveket, amelyek jobb teljesítmény eléréséhez segíthetik őket. Előadást hallgattak arról is, milyen fontos szerepe van a megfelelő mennyiségű és minőségű alvásnak, az egészséges étkezésnek és a rendszeres mozgásnak a testi, lelki és mentális jóllét elérésében.
Kültéri program keretében terepkerékpározás alapjait is elsajátították, majd akadálypályán tehették próbára tudásukat. A város víztornyába tett látogatás pedig lélegzetelállító kilátással jutalmazta a lépcsőfokokat megmászó tanulókat.
A magyar és dán diákok együtt készítették el országuk hagyományos karácsonyi ételeit, amelyeket ünnepi vacsora keretében fogyasztottak el. Az estét eredményhirdetés és vidám közös játék tette teljessé.
A programsorozat méltó zárása a billundi Legolandba tett kirándulás volt. A tanulók nemcsak a bámulatos Lego-építményeket csodálhatták meg, hanem a tengeri élővilágot bemutató akváriumban részt vettek a „Life Below Water” című foglalkozáson, ahol kivételes lehetőségként a kulisszák mögé is betekintést nyertek.
A hét gyorsan elrepült, életre szóló élményekben és tudásban egyaránt gazdagította a résztvevőket. Érezhetően fejlődött tanulóink együttműködési, idegen nyelvi kommunikációs készsége, szociális kompetenciája is.
Szombaton megható búcsú után indultak haza, de már izgatottan várják a tavaszt, amikor a dán barátaik viszonozzák a látogatást.
A diákmobilitással egyidőben iskolánk két pedagógusa (Erdei Ágnes és Lakatos Gabriella ) job shadowingon vett részt ugyanabban az intézményben. Ők a dán oktatási rendszer és az iskola működésének tanulmányozásán túl idegen nyelvi, és természettudományos órákat látogattak. Saját vállalásuk megvalósításán felül szabadidejükben részt vettek a diákmobilitás sikeres megvalósításában is.
Hálás köszönet illeti a dán iskola Erasmus+ koordinátorát, Jan Pedersent, a programokat megvalósító pedagógusokat, Tanja Oda Albaeket és Solveig Sorensent a felejthetetlen élményekért, és a fantasztikus fogadó családokat is, hogy ilyen önzetlenül és meleg szívvel fogadták tanulóinkat!
Köszönettel tartozunk Tóth Margit intézményi Erasmus+ koordinátorunknak is, akinek kitartó munkája nélkül nem jöhetett volna létre a mobilitás.

A group of ten 7th and 8th grade students from the Vörösmarty Mihály Primary School in Szeged spent a memorable week in Denmark between November 29 and December 6, 2025, as guests of Klovermarkskolen in Haderslev.
Together with Danish students, our students carried out joint projects focusing on learning about the host institution's SUUS program, understanding the importance of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDG17), discovering Danish traditions and culture, strengthening European partnerships, and improving their English language skills.
The participating students were selected for the program through a rigorous selection process, and before their departure, they completed assignments and prepared for the program's topics in English and Hungarian.
The group arrived in Haderslev on Saturday, where they were warmly welcomed by their host families. The weekend was spent getting to know each other in an informal setting, with the children participating in various leisure activities with their host families, so that by the end of the day everyone felt at home with their new Danish families.
Danish teachers put together a varied and exciting professional program for the project week. Our students participated in playful team-building activities and visited a swimming pool with their Danish peers, and they learned about sustainability goals through a board game. They explored the sights of Haderslev during an exciting photo safari.
They tried out the Grand Slam bike simulator and made posters presenting mobility goals. They learned about the SUUS program and its slogans – "Never say no" and "Look up, live life" – as well as Maslow's hierarchy of needs and the lifestyle principles that can help them achieve better performance. They also listened to a presentation on the important role of adequate quantity and quality of sleep, healthy eating, and regular exercise in achieving physical, emotional, and mental well-being.
As part of the outdoor program, they learned the basics of mountain biking and then put their skills to the test on an obstacle course. A visit to the city's water tower rewarded the students who climbed the stairs with breathtaking views.
The Hungarian and Danish students prepared traditional Christmas dishes from their countries together, which they enjoyed during a festive dinner. The evening was rounded off with an awards ceremony and fun games.
The series of programs ended with a trip to Legoland in Billund. The students not only admired the amazing Lego structures, but also took part in the "Life Below Water" activity at the aquarium showcasing marine life, where they had the exceptional opportunity to take a look behind the scenes.
The week flew by, enriching the participants with both lifelong experiences and knowledge. Our students' cooperation, foreign language communication skills, and social competence have noticeably improved.
After an emotional farewell on Saturday, they headed home, but are already eagerly awaiting spring, when their Danish friends will return the visit.
At the same time as the student mobility program, two teachers from our school (Ágnes Erdei and Gabriella Lakatos) took part in job shadowing at the same institution. In addition to studying the Danish education system and the school's operations, they attended foreign language and science classes. In addition to fulfilling their own commitments, they also participated in the successful implementation of the student mobility program in their free time.
