A márciusban Szegeden megrendezett projekthét folytatásaként májusban 12 diákunk utazott Spanyolországba, hogy részt vegyen az Erasmus+ mobilitási program következő állomásán.
A vendéglátó iskola, a San Miguel de Salinas-i CEIP Gloria Fuertes, izgalmas és tartalmas programsorozattal fogadott bennünket, amely során a tanulók nemcsak a robotika terén fejlődhettek tovább, hanem mélyebb betekintést nyerhettek a spanyol kultúrába, hagyományokba és a mindennapi életbe is.
A hét az iskolában történő ünnepélyes köszöntéssel kezdődött, ahol a diákok interaktív módon mutatták be saját intézményüket. Ezt követően körbevezettek a városban, ami nemcsak történelmi múltjával, hanem különleges művészeti értékeivel is lenyűgözött minket. Megtekintettük a régi városházát, a település nevét viselő templomot, a legnagyobb élményt azonban a barlangok meglátogatása jelentette. Az egyikben egy helyi művésznő alkotásait csodálhattuk meg, aki újrahasznosított anyagokból készít egyedi, színes és kreatív műveket – ezzel nemcsak a művészetet, hanem a fenntarthatóságot is középpontba helyezve. Egy másik barlangban egy stílusos éttermet alakítottak ki, míg a harmadik helyszínen egy hölgy saját, gyönyörűen felújított barlanglakását mutatta be nekünk. A nap zárásaként kézlenyomatainkkal az együttműködés jegyében az iskola Erasmus+ fáját díszítettük ki.
A második napon szabadtéri foglalkozások keretében ismerkedtünk meg a tartomány történelmével és kulturális sajátosságaival. Ellátogattunk az Alicante fölé magasodó Santa Barbara várhoz, majd a Les Fogueres múzeumban jártunk, amely a híres Szent Iván-éji tűzünnep, a Las Hogueras de San Juan látványos szobrait és hagyományait mutatja be – ezek az ünnepi alkotások minden évben egyedülálló művészi formában jelenítik meg az aktuális társadalmi témákat. A múzeumlátogatást követően a diákok felfedezték Alicante különleges utcáit: elsétáltunk a „Gombás utcán” (Calle de Las Setas), amely játékos, mesebeli hangulatot áraszt színes gombaszobraival, majd gyönyörködtünk a híres Explanada de España sétányban, amely a pálmafákkal szegélyezett, hullámzó mozaikmintás burkolatával az egyik legismertebb jelképe a városnak.
A harmadik napon Cartagena városába látogattunk, ahol elsőként a lenyűgöző római színházat jártuk be, majd felkapaszkodtunk a Concepción dombra, ahonnan gyönyörű panoráma nyílt a városra és az öbölre. Ezt követően hajóra szálltunk, és a part mentén haladva megfigyeltük az erődítményeket, várakat és ipari építményeket, miközben a város történelméről hallhattunk.
A negyedik nap a mozgás és az egészséges életmód jegyében telt. A tanulók padel teniszt és asztaliteniszt próbálhattak ki, majd egy közös sütögetés során spanyol édességet készítettek. A nap végén pedig a spanyol gyerekek szülei vendégeltek meg bennünket.
Az utolsó napon a digitális készségeké volt a főszerep: a gyerekek csoportokban pályákat építettek, majd a Clementoni Coding Lab Super DOC robotját használták, és egymásnak készítettek kreatív programozási feladatokat. A délutánt kalandparkozással töltöttük, majd elköszöntünk spanyol vendégeinktől, megköszönve a közösen töltött élménydús hetet és a barátságokat, amelyeket a projekt során kötöttünk.
Ez a mobilitási hét nemcsak új ismeretekkel gazdagította a diákokat, hanem felejthetetlen élményeket és új barátságokat is hozott. Hálásak vagyunk vendéglátóinknak és minden szervezőnek, hogy részesei lehettünk ennek a különleges kalandnak!
Following the project week held in Szeged in March, in May twelve of our students travelled to Spain to participate in the next phase of the Erasmus+ mobility program. Our host school, CEIP Gloria Fuertes in San Miguel de Salinas, welcomed us with an exciting and engaging schedule, during which the students not only advanced their skills in robotics but also gained deeper insight into Spanish culture, traditions, and everyday life.
The week began with a warm and ceremonial welcome at the school, where the students presented their own school in an interactive way. Afterwards, we were guided around the town, which impressed us not only with its historical background but also with its unique artistic heritage. We visited the old town hall, and the church named after the town, but the highlight was exploring the local caves. In one cave, we admired the works of a local artist who creates unique, colourful, and creative pieces from recycled materials—emphasizing not only art but also sustainability. Another cave had been transformed into a stylish restaurant, while a third showcased a beautifully renovated cave home belonging to a local woman. The day ended with us decorating the school’s Erasmus+ tree with our handprints as a symbol of cooperation and community.
On the second day, the students took part in outdoor activities to learn about the history of the region and its cultural characteristics. We visited the Santa Barbara Castle overlooking Alicante, then explored the Les Fogueres Museum, which presents the spectacular sculptures and traditions of the famous Saint John’s Eve festival, Las Hogueras de San Juan. These festival artworks annually represent current social themes in a unique artistic form. After the museum, the students wandered through Alicante’s charming streets: they walked along the “Mushroom Street” (Calle de Las Setas), known for its playful and fairy-tale atmosphere created by colourful mushroom sculptures, and admired the famous Explanada de España promenade, recognized for its palm trees and wave-patterned mosaic pavement—one of the city’s iconic symbols.
On the third day, we visited the city of Cartagena, where we first explored the impressive Roman Theatre, then climbed up to the Concepción hill, offering stunning panoramic views of the city and the bay. Afterwards, we boarded a boat and sailed along the coast, observing the fortresses, castles, and industrial buildings while learning about the city’s rich history.
The fourth day was dedicated to physical activity and healthy living. The students tried padel tennis and table tennis, followed by a joint baking session where they prepared a traditional Spanish dessert. The day ended with a warm reception hosted by the families of the Spanish students.
On the final day, digital skills took centre stage: the students worked in groups to build tracks and then programmed the Clementoni Coding Lab Super DOC robot, creating creative coding challenges for each other. The afternoon was spent at an adventure park, followed by a heartfelt farewell to our Spanish hosts, expressing gratitude for the unforgettable week and the friendships formed during the project.
This mobility week enriched our students not only with new knowledge but also with unforgettable experiences and lasting friendships. We are deeply thankful to our hosts and all organizers for making this special journey possible!
